Iwan Simonis hat mit dem Tuch 860 HR (High Resistance) seine Produktpalette erweitert. Gegenüber der Qualität 860 wurde bei der HR-Ausführung lediglich der Nylonanteil etwas erhöht und die Webstruktur gering verdichtet. Dadurch ist das 860 HR noch etwas strapazierfähiger und langlebiger. Die Spieleigenschaften wurden im Vergleich zu dem traditionellen Turniertuch Simonis 860 kaum spürbar verändert.
