Man benötigt es nach dem Aufkleben eines neuen Klebeleders (Spitze).
Mittels der konisch zulaufenden Messerklinge kann man das über den Rand der Ferrule überstehende Leder ganz einfach und präzise dem Durchmesser der Ferrule angleichen.
Der Spezial-Spitzer ist für Klebeleder mit Durchmesser 9 mm bis 14 mm geeignet.
Die Qualitäts Messerklinge ist langlebig aber bei Bedarf auswechselbar.
